Cobbina Frempong is the Owner and Creative Director of Green District Media. For him, filmmaking began as a personal passion that quickly turned into a full-service video production company. He has over fifteen years of experience producing media. Cobbina is dedicated and committed to preserving the details of a person’s story which help to create unique content. He believes in the power of storytelling.

The team
When you work with Green District Media you are not being shuffled through a large corporation. We are personable and casual, but professional. Our shoots can be as intimate as one crew member or as large as multiple cameras, and a team of production assistants.
The name
Green District Media is an homage to the Greenwood District in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This self-sufficienct and historic town was once known as “Black Wall Street.” It was an affluent Black urban community in the United States during the early 1900s. Over 100 businesses in the neighborhood practiced Black excellence through entrepreneurship and believed in community.
